Domaine Gentile

The Domaine Gentile was born from the passion, strength and heart of a man: Dominique Gentile.

At the heart of the Patrimonio and Muscat production area of Cap-Corse, in the Conca d’Oru zone classified in the national inventory of sites, the Domaine Gentile occupies about thirty hectares of vines planted on hillsides. The Estate is also a family story. Jean-Paul Gentile follows with honor and talent the footsteps of his parents pursuing the goal of quality combined with the defense of tradition and the typicity of Corsican grape varieties and terroir.

This 2006 vintage gives a perfect interpretation of the Corsican terroir and its muscats. Its creator perfectly masters one of the most complex grape varieties in Corsica: Muscat Petit Grain. If it is poorly vinified, it can be too heavy, too sweet, too spirity. For all these years of aging, keeping allowed him to eat his sugars and develop aromas of saffron, slightly nutty aromas. It’s digestible and above all, a crazy energy emanates from this wine.
