Henriot

In 1808, it was Apolline Henriot, young widow of Nicolas Henriot, who founded the Champagne House. At the beginning of the 1970s, Joseph Henriot, 7th generation of the family, decided to enrich the collection of reserve wines of the Maison Henriot initiated by Apolline Henriot two centuries earlier. Since then, the Maison Henriot has perpetuated these precious creations that reflect the most beautiful moments in the history of Champagne.

Champagne highly appreciated at the Dutch Court, Henriot later became a reference mark for the European aristocracy. Benefiting from an aging period and a quantity of reserve wines specific to each cuvée, the Henriot Champagnes are distinguished by their finesse, exceptional elegance, complexity and dazzling richness.

Emblematic cuvée, this Champagne Blanc de Blancs is mainly made from Chardonnay coming from the Côte des Blancs and crus of more than 7 neighboring villages.

Pale gold-colored, the dress is sparkling with subtle green hues. The beautiful effervescence offers fine and regular bubbles. The nose is concentrated and expressive. Intense floral aromas (honeysuckle, orange and linden blossom) and fruity harmonise with spicy and brioche notes. The palate is full with a lively attack and reveals aromas of slightly toasted brioche mixed with notes of quince paste and acacia honey. Gourmand and persistent, the finish has a slight mentholated note.
