Maison Krug

The House of Krug was founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug, a visionary and passionate man. It holds a unique library in the world consisting of more than 150 reserve wines, some of which are over 15 years old. With more than 250 different plots including the prestigious Clos du Mesnil and the Clos d’Ambonnay, Maison Krug holds a heritage of exceptional vines in Champagne.

The 2006 Krug is a generous vintage champagne, full of charm, roundness and elegance, with intense aromas. This charismatic brut champagne beautifully combines natural intensity, delicacy, elegance and impertinence. The generous aromas and expressiveness of Krug 2006 Brut result from a 12-year stay in the cellar, which gave it balance and finesse. The dress is golden, the nose offers very expressive aromas of yellow fruits, hazelnut and meringue. On the palate, one has an impression of nobility, distinction, generosity and freshness. Aromas of frangipane, nougat accompany a beautiful finish of pink grapefruit peel.
