Cuvée Anaïs

Located in Chavanay, Marc and Dominique Rouvière develop fine vintages of Saint-Joseph and Condrieu. Their wines seduce by their finesse, their immediately seductive fruitiness and their straightness in the mouth.

The Cuvée Anaïs comes from a selection of old vines located on the hillside.

This 1995 vintage reveals a dark garnet color. The nose has aromas of jam and very ripe black fruits and smoky and peppery notes. Very powerful in the mouth, we find the trace of granite, this mineral background that sublimates fruity notes (blackberry, blueberry) but also liquorice and spices (black pepper). The tannins are very tight with a very long persistence in the mouth.
