Château Monbrison

2012

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

Located a stone’s throw from the Grands Crus Classés of Château du Tertre and Château Giscours, Château Monbrison has nothing to envy to its illustrious neighbours whose remarkable terroir is similar to that of Graves. The vineyard of the estate extends over 15 hectares. Very appreciated by amateurs since the mid-1980s, Château Monbrison has shown a spectacular growth since 1995, thanks to the approach initiated by the former owner Jean-Luc Vonderheyden, now deceased as his brother Laurent Vonderheyden, current owner, has committed to pursue.

The elegance of the dress, an intense and deep garnet, echoes that of the bouquet, open on red fruits, spices, roasting and blond tobacco. Well supported by firm and solid tannins, by a fine vivacity and by a quality oak, this 2012 vintage is powerful and very balanced. A guard margaux, with a well-tempered character.
