Clos René

With very ancient origins, the Clos René was formerly called «Reney» on the map of the engineer-geographer Pierre de Belleyme. The estate has been in the hands of the same family for several generations. It is now run by Jean-Marie Garde.

This 2012 vintage makes an excellent impression. The colour is very dark, the bouquet discreet but well balanced between the grape and the barrel. Rich, dense and concentrated, this wine already seduces by its harmony, thanks to tannins that are both powerful and elegant, which allow for consumption in the near future, while allowing for storage.
