The trading house was born in Monthélie, in 1831, under the impetus of Bernard Bichot and will experience a rapid growth during the 19^th century by becoming the official supplier of the Court of Sweden. Albert Bichot has taken over the reins of the company since 1996, perpetuating the family heritage with the right dose of modernity. Today, it manages more than 100 hectares of vineyards, spread from the north to the south of Burgundy, and grouped into 6 prestigious estates. Respect for the terroir, perfect control of vinifications, Albert Bichot wines are carriers of an emotion, a philosophy that make the House one of the greatest names in Burgundy.

The Domaine du Pavillon is located south of Pommard, in Côte de Beaune. In the heart of a walled enclosure, are gathered cuverie, cellar and 18^th century mansion. The estate covers 19.5 hectares of vineyards.

This 2012 vintage has a rather light colour, with a beautiful ruby colour. The nose is powerful and concentrated with red fruits like raspberry, cherry, blackberry and strawberry as well as notes of sweet spices, tea and cocoa . The palate is very delicate and very fine. Very flexible tannic structure, for this balanced wine that has beautiful velvety tannins. The finish is, meanwhile, long and aromatic recalling the fruity scents of the first nose.
