Fort of its soil of graves, Château Poujeaux was for a long time the property of the family Theil, who worked to his fame. George Pompidou loved it. In 2008, the Cuvelier family (already owner of Clos Fourtet) took over the destiny, by continuing, they infuse a new energy and much ambition to this property of 52 ha planted with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot and Malbec.

This 2015 vintage has a dark shade of the robe, between ruby and garnet, crossed by black reflections that reflect the youth of this wine. This wine is also expressed through the bouquet, which gradually distils aromas of black fruit (blackberry) and vanilla. Ample and generous, the palate reveals a powerful material combined with rich tannins that promise a harmonious garde. One of the most successful vintages of the last decade !
