Saint Estèphe

Château Haut Marbuzet

2014

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

Located between the Château Cos d’Estournel and the Château Montrose, the Château Haut-Marbuzet has 75 hectares in appellation Saint-Estèphe. Enjoying a temperate oceanic climate due to its proximity to the estuary of the Gironde, the vineyard extends over a sublime terroir of deep mixed limestone clay that allows the vine to draw water and nutrients it needs. Château Haut-Marbuzet is the pride of its owner, Henri Duboscq.

Very Saint-Estèphe by the depth of its dark garnet colour, this 2014 vintage is distinguished by its intense bouquet, subtle marriage of gingerbread, toast and red and black fruits. On the palate, this rich palette, which features black cherry and roasted coffee, is combined with a beautiful freshness, volume, fat and solid tannic structure to give a refined ensemble. Power combined with charm, and a significant potential for guard.

Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate – Château Haut Marbuzet 2014 rated 92/100.
