Château Grand Puy Ducasse

Located in the heart of the Pauillac appellation, on the left bank of the Bordeaux region, Château Grand Puy Ducasse is a vineyard of exception spread over 40 hectares of vines. The strength of Château Grand Puy Ducasse lies in its large terroir of graves garonnaises deposited along the river. Cabernet Sauvignon (62%) makes up the majority of the estate’s vines, supplemented by Merlot (38%).

Displaying the structure and elegance of great Pauillac, the wines of Château Grand-Puy Ducasse offer a beautiful aromatic complexity by presenting an exceptional ability to keep.

This 2006 vintage reveals an intense red color. The nose is discreet but opens very quickly on aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant and blackberry), but also liquorice, smoke and coffee and possibly blond tobacco. The bouquet is finally intense and complex. In the mouth, the texture is soft and round, aromas and flavors delicately line the palate. It is a balanced vintage with a lot of class. A charming wine with a long and very interesting mouth.
