Château Bastor Lamontagne

The Bastor Lamontagne is one of the best non-classified wines in Sauternes. Its 58 hectares of vineyards in Preignac planted in Semillon (80%) completed by Sauvignon Blanc (20%) gives a fragrant and moderate liqueur sauternes. The price is very wise.

This 2000 vintage has a golden and bright color, animated by some straw reflections, the wine develops a bouquet that illustrates the finesse and elegance characteristic of Sauternes: well-ripe apricot, lemon confit, then more complex notes when aerated. Rich, round, elegant and carrying a nice fresh and soft material, with a nice note of lemon confit in the finish, a real great Sauternes ready to drink.
