Once called Château de Branayre, the estate took its current name when it was bought by the Counts of Arche in 1733. Pierre Perromat now runs this 40-hectare vineyard. The castle enjoys a privileged location. Its wines, very typical, are among the best of the town.
This 1996 vintage exudes aromas of almond, quince, mango, dried apricot combined with floral notes of acacia or mimosa. Nectar intense, powerful, creamy, it is one of the few wines to offer in the mouth a complex aromatic palette, almost magical !
