Château de la Chartreuse

A tradition that has continued uninterrupted for more than two centuries, and which has seen many female figures succeed each other at the head of the family domain. Today, Anne-Mary Facchetti-Ricard manages and holds the reins of the Château she owns.

From a blend of the three main grape varieties of the appellation (Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle), this 1997 vintage oscillates between sweetness and nervousness which makes it a fine wine, balanced, delicate and suave that inspires pleasure. Amber colour, this wine has a nice bouquet with quince, melon and citrus. Flexible and balanced, it creates a taste and olfactory harmony that all Sauternes certainly can not offer.
