Château Roumieu

The name of «Roumieu» comes from the name of one of the plots of land: it means a place of passage of pilgrims on the road to Saint-Jacques de Compostelle. In medieval times, «Roumi» was the term used by the Moors to describe Christians. Belonging to the same family since the beginning of the 18th century, the current owners are the guarantors of a long tradition and recognized expertise.

This 1997 vintage has a safraned dress of the most beautiful effect. A very marked aromatic expression on the nose reveals woody aromas, spicy on the flavors of tropical fruits, white fruits and honey. The mouth is opulent, silky with an endless finish. Rare elegance perfumes make it a Sauternes to discover !
