Sauternes Grand Cru Classé

Château Broustet

2001

Bottle (0,75L)
White
Syrupy

Château Broustet was classified as a Second Cru in 1855, when it was at the time the Château Broustet-Nairac. The second one enjoys a very good reputation. But let’s not forget the first one, which under the impetus of a new team produces very beautiful sweet wines. The domain is now certified organic.

This 2001 vintage reveals a beautiful intense golden yellow color with deep amber reflections. On the nose, it reveals complex and articulated aromas, reminiscent of overripe apricot, honey, cloves, caramel and spices. The taste is compact and balanced, soft and smooth, full-bodied and long lasting.

It is one of the best value for money in Sauternes, offering a perfect balance and very good potential for storage.
