La Réserve Rouge

The Château l’Hospitalet is nestled in the heart of the protected massif of the Clape, former link of the chain of the Pyrenees, Phoenician island then Roman, cradle of the vine in France. Gérard Bertrand acquired the property in 2002 and made it one of the largest wine tourism complex in Europe.

This 2011 vintage offers a rich, fleshy and spicy nose with very nice aromas of black fruits, while the mouth is ample and voluminous with a texture already rounded by silky tannins. With its long finish of tapenade, garrigue and blackberry, it is a superb red wine subtly balanced by well-dosed woody touches.
