Château de Portets

2011

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

Ancient barony of Gascq

Marie-Hélène Yung-Théron, the little girl, is dedicated to highlighting the property, the most imposing building in Portets, its vineyards, wines and history. Married to Rodolphe YUNG since 1998, they have two children, Charles and Paul. To this day, the Château de Portets remains a family property welcoming under its roof 3 generations. The family life is punctuated by the wine works. In short, a growing family saga !

This 2011 vintage reveals a ruby, sustained. Mature nose mixing red fruits with vanilla woody notes. The attack is frank and fresh, supported by fine tannins. The palate evolves on a nice density and roundness. A wine with finesse, supported in the finish by a discreet woody, well melted.

Silver medal 2013 at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
