Latifa, a colourful course.

Born in the Médoc, among the world’s tastiest wines and in a Moroccan family of seven children, Latifa Saïkouk has been passionate about working with vines since she was very young. Pursuing her dream, she studied viticulture – oenology. Then in 2001, sponsored and guided by another winemaker, Jean-Pierre Dupuy, she decided to launch her own estate. She then settled in Saint Seurin de Cadourne and brought her first harvest to the village’s Cooperative Cellar. That’s how this beautiful story began.

This 2017 vintage boasts a beautiful black cherry robe, clear and bright. The nose is open and aromatic, with a bouquet composed of woody and slightly toasted notes, underwood and spice notes and zan, and small black fruits. The palate is round and voluminous, aromatic and with a good density. The tannins are still a little young, but will polish over time. Nice length on the finish, notes of black fruits, cherry kernels and slightly toasted notes.
