Sébastien Bidault, son-in-law of Robert Gibourg, has been in charge since 1999 of this estate created in 1965, which covers 5.5 ha equally distributed between Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, between Gevrey-Chambertin and Chorey-lès-Beaune.
Le Clos de la Roche is located on the edge of the town of Gevrey Chambertin. It is the largest of the great wines of Morey-Saint-Denis.
This 1997 vintage is a magnificent cuvée with a serious and deep character. Robust and virile, the tannic fabric remains flexible. A great red Burgundy with rich and dense structure !
