Saint Julien Grand Cru Classé

Château Lagrange

2005

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

Château Lagrange has 118 hectares planted in vignese and is located in Saint-Julien, in the Bordeaux region. It was classified 3rd Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification. The Japanese group Suntory, under the leadership of its president Keizo Saji, acquired the estate in 1983. Today a new tandem, Matthieu Bordes and Keiichi Shiina, continues the development.

This 2002 vintage is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Typical of the vintage, with a suave and gourmet side, it seduces with its beautiful mellow and velvet tannins. This is explained by the high proportion of merlot present in the blend. The nose is immediately seductive, with notes of cedar, tobacco and a touch of mint. In the mouth, it retains a beautiful hold. Firm and distinguished.
