The region that unites the Fronsac & Canon Fronsac appellations is unlike any other of the Bordeaux appellations. «Its beauty, said a passing lover, can only see good wines born». Almost as close to Libourne as Pomerol, its vineyard extends over 1000 hectares and presents superb landscapes of plateaus and hillsides. It looks like a small «Tuscany» nestled at the fork of two rivers: L’Isle and the Dordogne.
This 1993 vintage is dominated by the fruity and round aromas of Merlot present at 80% accompanied by 20% Cabernet Franc. Opulent with melted tannins that bring subtle aromas of spices.
