Domaine Charles Henri Bourguignon

Burgundy stretching from Chablis in the North, to Mâcon in the South. The Chardonnay, a true sponge, has been able to find in each of the terroirs an expression that is favorable to its culture. While in the North, the wines are marked by a limestone aspect, of oyster and lemon shells, in the South, the wines are marked by their minerality associated with prodigious gourmandise. In Mâcon, the southernmost part of Burgundy, the wines have developed a rich aromatic character and a creamy texture that is almost full-bodied but still has great minerality which the calcareous terrain makes more lively.

This 2018 vintage, based on Chardonnay is rather charming, and marked by floral and fruity aromas, with some citrus nuances. On the nose, it presents deeper aromas of almond and hazelnut, typical of the grape variety and enhanced with exotic scents even spicy and vanilla.
