Château Sigalas Rabaud

Like the best wines of Haut-Sauternais, Château Sigalas Rabaud is rich in liqueur, concentrated and powerful. But it is distinguished by a rare elegance sought after by a circle of loyal fans. Lambert’s family exploits this property with brilliance. Since 2013, Laure de Lambert Compeyrot has taken over the domain.

This 2000 vintage enchants with its notes of saffron, dried apricot, walnut, pear and sand. We are on the swing, between a slightly oxidative register and freshness, which confirms the mouth, on a well-dosed liqueur counterbalanced by the subtle bitterness of pink grapefruit in the finish. It’s long, elegant and subtle, as always in Sigalas Rabaud !
