Pessac Léognan Grand Cru Classé

Château Latour Martillac

2008

Bottle (0,75L)
Red
Dry

Coming from a long and unique family history, the Château Latour-Martillac has become one of the essential references in Pessac-Léognan . Chosen in 1934 to accompany the banquet of the coronation of King George VI, it has since lost nothing of its prestige thanks to its intense wines, very fruity and spicy. A reference must have !

The colour of this 2008 vintage is very dark, deep, purple, purplish. The nose is intense with notes of cassis, black cherry and fresh fruit, followed by a touch of liquorice and spices. The palate is greedy, powerful, juicy and fleshy, made up of tannins coated and velvety. The finish is fresh, fruity and persistent.

Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate – Château Latour Martillac 2008 rated 90/100.
