The history of the estate begins in 1960 when Antonin Guyon decided to acquire plots. He chooses plots on the Gold Coast from Gevrey-Chambertin to Meursault. 10 years later, his son Dominique, manages to complete the estate by bringing together a total of 350 plots on more than 50 hectares and who leads it with the precious help of Vincent Nicot, cellar master and head of culture. Together, they ensure the smooth running of winemaking and thus work to express their fabulous terroirs.
This 2016 vintage reveals a purple dress with brilliant reflections. The nose develops subtle notes of wild strawberries, candied fruits, cherries with brandy, licorice and coffee. The bouquet is powerful and complex. The palate is just as rich and powerful, with an incredible length, a perfect balance between structure, acidity, fruit and woody aromas. This wine is undoubtedly one of the greatest wines of the Côte de Beaune !
