Château Laniote has been a family property (family of Arnaud de la Filolie) for nearly two centuries. On the label is the 13th century chapel in the heart of the city of Saint-Emilion which still belongs to the descendants of the family.

This 1993 vintage sports a beautiful deep ruby robe that evokes ripe fruit on the nose. The bouquet is very flattering. The palate reveals notes of sour cherry and a certain freshness. The flesh is full, round, and crunchy with black berries. The palate is fresh and fruity. Very great potential for aging.
