Champelrose

Estate on an area of 32 hectares in hillsides, oriented south/ southeast, including 8 ha on the appellation Cornas and 16 ha on the appellation Saint-Joseph red.  Domaine Courbis has an area of 35 hectares in the Rhone Valley, on the right bank of the Rhône. It extends over the appellations Saint-Joseph, Cornas, Crozes Hermitage and Saint Peray.  Two brothers, Dominique and Laurent run the estate with a common goal: the quality of the wines.

The syrah of this 2018 vintage is perfectly expressed with pretty red fruits (cherry) very generous both in the nose and on the palate. The final is marked by peppery aromas. A gourmet cuvée that reserves us a real pleasure to taste !
