Le S du Sartre

The history of Château Le Sartre begins in the 20th century, when the Rouanet family acquires and develops the estate. Unfortunately, the phylloxera crisis and two world wars have damaged this vineyard. Thus, in 1944, the last vines of Château Le Sartre are ploughed out and the property is fragmented until the arrival of the Perrin family in the 80s.

The S du Sartre is the second wine of the property, harvested and vinified by the same teams and under the same conditions as the great wine. Thus, it is the purest reflection of its name.

This 2014 vintage presents a beautiful pale yellow color, a nose embellished with citrus and white flowers. In the mouth, the wine is both supple and rich, and has a nice length.
