Recognized Côtes du Rhône Village Séguret since 1967, this appellation has been a rising value for several vintages. The vines are spread along the Vallée de l’Ouvèze in the Vaucluse. On clay-limestone lands at the foot of the lace of Montmirail. Less powerful than its neighbouring wines (Châteauneuf du Pape, Cairanne, Rasteau and Plan de Dieu), the red wines of Séguret play the card of freshness and melted tannins. A delight for the palate with spicy notes (liquorice, vanilla) and roasted (mocha, coffee).
