Cuvée VV

The vineyard of Marcillac is located on slopes of red clay, called road, overlooked by limestone plateaus.  The current area of the AOC, which has 200 hectares, makes it one of the smallest appellations in France.  Philippe and Julien Teulier, owners of the Domaine du Cros, belong to the fifteen owners of bottlers.

The Cuvée VV du Domaine du Cros is a AOC Marcillac appellation wine made from 100% Fer Servadou (or Mansois) from vines over 50 years old.

This 2018 vintage has a red color with purple reflections. On the nose, it reveals aromas of cassis, mint, with spicy and peppery notes. The palate is fleshy with black fruit, a nice refined frame and melted tannins where the terroir reveals itself.
