Cuvée n°25 – No Added Sulphites

The vineyard of Marcillac is located on slopes of red clay, called road, overlooked by limestone plateaus.  The current area of the AOC, which has 200 hectares, makes it one of the smallest appellations in France.  Philippe and Julien Teulier, owners of the Domaine du Cros, belong to the fifteen owners of bottlers.

Cuvée n°25 from Domaine du Cros is a Marcillac AOC appellation wine made from 100% Fer Servadou (or Mansois).

This 2020 vintage is endowed with an intense red dress with slightly purple reflections. On the nose, it is fresh with aromas of red fruits and spices dominated by blackcurrant and pepper. On the palate, it has an explosive and gourmet attack on the fruit, round and elegant mid-palate where spices come to mingle with the delicately rustic tannins of the grape. Cheerful and full finish with liquorice and menthol notes.
