Très Girard – Wine raised in Amphore – Organic wine

Michel Magnien represents the 4^th generation of winemakers from the Magnien family. From a very young age, he worked on his father’s vineyard, Bernard Magnien. The family estate covers 19 hectares on the Côte de Nuits and adopted organic viticulture in 2008. Frédéric Magnien, 5^th generation, today guides the family estate and strives to raise wines to the highest level of quality.

The plot of “Tres Girard” is located in the AOC Villages appellation under the Premiers Crus “Clos Sorbè” and the “Sorbets”.

This wine was vinified in an earthenware jar, an aromatically neutral container that allows the wine to breathe. Domaine Michel Magnien is regularly praised by critics for its fine wines of great elegance.

This 2018 vintage has a deep red color. On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe red fruits and undergrowth. On the palate, the structure is elegant with a beautiful tannic finesse. The vinosity blends with a pleasant freshness, offering a beautiful length in the finish. This wine is balanced, complex and promises a beautiful evolution over time.
